National science film competition for Primary and Secondary school students

It’s time for young scientists with a knack for communicating, and budding filmmakers with an interest in science, to pull out their cameras!

So, what’s the prize?

There is $10,000 of prize money up for grabs, shared equally between the winners and their schools.

Plus, finalist representatives win a trip to Sydney for the prestigious Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Award Dinner at Sydney Town Hall, where the winners will be presented their award by Sleek Geek, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.

Sponsored by the University of Sydney, the prize encourages students to explore a scientific concept, discovery or invention, or test their own scientific hypothesis in a 1-3 minute film.

Entries close 7pm AEST Friday 6 May.
