The Queensland Chief Scientist, Dr Geoff Garrett AO invites your students to partake in a Guinness World Record attempt:
Largest Practical Science Lesson

To coincide with National Science Week, we are looking to smash the current Guinness World Record of 2102 students participating in a practical science lesson.

Students will participate in a 30 minute practical science lesson (preferred years 5-10 but all others welcome).

Date: Friday 12 August 2016

Time: 9 am – 12 noon

Location: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

Registration: Please register your expression of interest online by Friday 17 June 2016 – places are limited so get in quick!

Cost: Free – however schools will need to cover costs of transport to and from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Other activities: In order for you to maximise opportunities for a range of engagement activities, the Queensland Museum and Sciencentre will offer a range of free activities following the Guinness World Record attempt. The Expression of Interest form will enable you to register your interest in these activities.
