    Hullo –

My name is Rowena Ball, I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematical Sciences Institute and the Research School of Chemistry at the Australian National University. I am partnered with two remote, mainly Indigenous, schools in Qld under the CSIRO Scientists and Mathematicians in Schools Program – Normanton State School and Gulf Christian College. I visit the schools each year and carry out science & maths enrichment activities with the students and teachers, and I run a science blog for them. In my forthcoming visit next month I’ll be talking with them about difference science and engineering based careers, and how to get there, and showing Australian and Indigenous scientists as examples. I would like to take a packet of the STEM playing career cards to show them – please send to me at MSI Building 27, ANU, Canberra, ACT, 2602.

    Many thanks

    Hi there!

These look like a fabulous resource. I would love a set or possibly a few sets as well as the matching posters? I am the North Queensland Project Officer for the STEM Professionals in Schools (formerly known as Scientists and Mathematicians in Schools) Program. I am also a STAQ member. I am based in Townsville and I hold networking events for my members (teachers and STEM professionals working with teachers) quite regularly. This resource would be great to show my participants to give them ideas about what types of careers lie in STEM for the students that they work with. Please send to me at ATSIP Building 145, James Cook University, James Cook Drive, Douglas, Qld, 4811.

    Thanks so much.
